What does Y.A.R.D stand for?

Young Adults in the Right Direction

Y.A.R.D. Ministry Mission Statement:

The Y.A.R.D. Ministry of ICOG seeks to provide an environment where young adults ages 18-35 can grow spiritually while tackling real life situations. We believe that iron sharpens iron, we are accountable for one another and that our testimonies are proof of God’s faithfulness. Our goal is not perfection, but constant growth in our faith. It is through this growth that we can make an impact at ICOG and in our community.

Purpose:

To cultivate a safe space for young adults at ICOG and in the community to let their voices be heard. A safe space for them to openly express their needs and concerns and to address those concerns through prayer, fellowship, evangelism, and outreach.
